1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to myevnt.in ("Platform", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our website, services, APIs, or event booking interfaces, you ("User", "Organizer", or "Attendee") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

2. Scope of Services

myevnt.in provides a cloud-based software platform enabling event organizers to:

• Create, publish, and manage event listings and ticket tiers.
• Issue digital tickets, booking confirmations, and cryptographically signed QR passes.
• Collect registration fees and ticket payments from attendees in Indian Rupees (INR ₹).
• Check in attendees at event venues via camera-based QR code verification.

myevnt.in operates as a technology facilitator and booking aggregator. We are not the host, producer, or organizer of the physical or virtual events listed on the Platform unless explicitly specified.

3. User & Organizer Accounts

To create and publish events, Organizers must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete KYC and banking details (including PAN and bank account verification) for payment settlements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Pricing, Payments & Currency

All transactions on myevnt.in are processed in Indian Rupees (INR ₹).

• Ticket Prices: Set directly by the respective Event Organizer. Ticket prices displayed to attendees include all applicable taxes unless otherwise noted.
• Platform Commission: myevnt.in charges a transparent standard service fee of 6% on paid ticket transactions for payment processing and platform infrastructure.
• Payment Gateway: All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment partner, Cashfree Payments India Private Limited (PCI-DSS compliant).
• Refund Reserve: In accordance with our merchant agreement and risk management framework, an automated 20% refund reserve is held during the active refund window to service attendee cancellation or refund requests. The remaining balance (74%) is routed directly to the Organizer upon payment confirmation, and the reserve balance is automatically released to the Organizer after the refund window expires.

5. Ticket Purchases & Entry

Upon successful payment via Cashfree, a digital ticket containing a unique order ID and QR code is issued to the attendee via email and web order page. Attendees must present the valid QR pass at the venue entrance.

Tickets are non-transferable unless permitted by the Organizer. Admission to events remains subject to the venue's and Organizer's specific entry rules, age restrictions, and code of conduct.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed strictly by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. In the event of event cancellation or an approved attendee refund request within the organizer's specified refund window, refunds will be credited back to the original payment source within 5 to 7 business days.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users and Organizers agree not to use the Platform for:

• Hosting fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal events.
• Selling unauthorized, speculative, or counterfeit tickets.
• Violating intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Attempting to tamper with, reverse-engineer, or compromise the Platform security or ticket validation system.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in India, myevnt.in shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from event cancellation, rescheduling, venue alterations, or acts of event organizers.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
